EVADE - Protective Masks

We were set a collaborative project to create a business and market it in whatever way we wanted.
In response, we decided to create a business focused on premium protective masks, to help during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our unique approach centres on scented masks, featuring natural fragrances that are both pleasant and safe for users. Targeting the youthful demographic of 12 to 20-year-olds, my contribution was to craft an Instagram presence to visually engage our audience.
Each scent is designed with its own theme and location, appealing to the adventurous and imaginative spirit of our target market. To enhance brand identity and credibility, I ensured that each fragrance had a captivating name along with an informative tagline that relates to the importance of mask-wearing in combatting COVID-19. This strategy not only elevates the user experience but also places our brand at the forefront of the premium mask market, offering a product that combines safety and sensory enjoyment.

















The outcome of this project is very striking, showcasing a fresh and innovative approach to visual design. By utilizing each strip of three squares on the Instagram page, I created an appealing visual narrative that grants each scent its own moment in the spotlight. The thoughtful use of analogous colour schemes not only makes each fragrance instantly recognizable but also contributes to a seamless flow throughout the overall design. This careful orchestration of colour creates a soothing effect on the eyes, aiming to instil a sense of calmness, peace, and tranquillity in the customer. This experience marks my first time collaborating in a team, revealing the immense benefits of idea-sharing for generating innovative solutions. However, it also highlighted challenges, urging me to develop effective communication and conflict-resolution strategies. Ultimately, this project resonated so well that it earned me a first, further reinforcing the effectiveness of combining aesthetic appeal with a mindful approach to branding.
